-Speaking to Daenah: Allows for easy diagnoses of the tree Daenah. Her life is tied with Daenah. If Daenah dies she dies. Communication is key for both to continue living.
-Speaking to Souls: Allows for soothing, learning, and understanding souls that come to Daenah. Also works along side judgement on corrupt souls.
-Creating a shadow twin: Using magic from Daenah she can give life to her shadow. This allows her to see the world outside of Daenah's boundaries.
-Judgement on Souls: Allows her the power to banish any souls too far gone into darkness. This prevents corrupt souls from being reborn normally into human/creature society. She also uses this along side Speaking to Souls to better judge if a soul is able to reform and find peace or not.

>Brief Bio Information: She was created by The Great One to guard the tree Daenah. Daenah is called the Tree of Souls because souls come to Daenah to try and find peace. This is when they cannot move onto the next life. She is unable to leave Daenah. She can walk around the tree but cannot travel onto the pathway that runs straight.
Navia is Immortal. Her Immortality is linked with Daenah's Immortality. If Navia is ever injured or killed Daenah will reflect this. If Daenah is injured or killed Navia will reflect this. If either is truly killed the other will die painfully.
She has never held a desire to make connections with others. To her they are nothing more than breathing tools or objects. This is due to she was given life as an adult, so no childhood. She also rare to never would have living company to interact with. Using her powers she created a twin from her shadow.
Her twin is mute. Navia never gave her a voice. Her twin or shadow listens only to Navia and has never disobeyed. Her twin is not linked to Daenah so has freedom to go onto the main land in Aphelia. The only way to tell the real from the shadow is to look at their eyes. The twin's eye color is reverse to the original.
The twin is a tool for Navia to use. It allows her to see what is happening in the world outside Daenah's mists. She has to touch the shadow's head and use a bit of power to read its memories. Reading what her twin has experienced allows her to see, smell, hear, and at times feel and taste exactly what the twin had. Later her shadow was given the name Ling, meaning "spirit", "soul", "bell", or "chime".
Navia gave this name to her shadow after much annoying visits from the God of Life. After he saw Ling he asked the name of the shadow. When told it had no name he went into explaining how everything has a name. Navia gave in after a time of his constant cheery conversations. She would more refer to them as his way of pestering her.
So to silence him she named her shadow Ling. It was something she detested doing but it did make the God of Life shut up over the matter. The overly cheery nature of the God of Life brought thoughts of drowning him each time he came to collect souls ready to move on. Normally she could send souls to him and his sister. He would visit her when they wouldn't receive any souls for a time.
To take out her frustrations she will use a soul that is beyond redemption and toy with it. This consist of threatening, harming, warping, and basically torturing it before finally banishing it. This soul could be one that came to the tree from the mainland or from a body that died trying to find where the green pathway leads. Connected to the mainland is the pathway that ends curling around into itself. A mist covers the area, thick in some spots and thin in others.
This mist kills whoever and whatever that enters it. It is one protection for Daenah and Navia. Potentially there could be a way past this but none has been discovered so far. Navia calls it the Mists of Judgment. Her theory lies along the lines only one who is truly meant to will be permitted to reach her and Daenah that holds no Immortal or blood of the Gods.
Overtime with visits from the God of Life Navia began to slightly enjoy the sight and sound of him. She still felt disgust towards his happy energy and outlook on things. Inside though she wasn't fully aware, was enjoying their visits. It was both annoying and nice to have another living creature to speak to. Her defense, besides to silence him, for naming her shadow was to simply humor him.
She still didn't see the point in how he saw the world. Tools were tools for simple use. When that tool breaks you simply get a new tool for that task. Inside she was, partly, attempting to see things from his point of view. If asked or questioned she would deny it and accuse the accusation as being unfounded and stupid.
Deep inside a tiny fondness started to take shape for the God of Life. When she started to grasp what it was by studying the souls memories it made her try harder to reverse the feeling. She was the Keeper of Souls. She was created to help souls find calm and peace so they could ascend into rebirth. She wasn't even able to leave the area of Daenah.
Though she had these feelings of enjoying on some level his company she couldn't let it happen. She didn't and refused to admit she felt lonely amongst the souls. They were lost enough and didn't need her vocalizing her own feelings. For a time she actually instructed Ling to guide a group of souls to the God and Goddess of Life. If she could go at times without him coming to visit to collect any souls ready to go, she could give herself more focus on ignoring feelings caused by the God of Life.
Quote: "An Immortal unable to travel but a few short feet from a tree of magic deserves her isolation. She should not and must not think of anything except her job. It is her duty and what is not meant to be gone against. Everything has a point and an Immortal who cannot travel far is the point of guidance for those who come to her and nothing more." - Navia
